"Surfseasun" is located in The Breakers which is a peaceful resort community tucked away at the northern tip of Carolina Beach. It features a community pool surrounded by palms overlooking a huge natural salt marsh and pleasant BBQ picnic area.

Located immediately south of fashionable Freeman Park, this handsome community is across the street from the beach and North Pier activities and eateries. The Board Walk and all the attractions of central CB are just 4 mins. south.

Savor a limited ocean view and listen to the surf from the roomy front balcony. The rear balcony offers broad marsh vistas, glimpses of the ocean, ICW, and beautiful sunsets.

"Surfseasun" has been newly modernized and furnished with a tasteful coastal vibe. It offers a king bed and queen sleeper accommodating 4 overnight guests. Unwind with comfortable seating and welcoming furnishings inside and out. The kitchen is completely equipped and there’s one full bath. Parking is by permit and two passes are supplied.

We’d adore to have you come savor "Surfseasun" during any season! Carolina Beach has so many activities to keep the whole family entertained that you will want to keep coming back year after year. This is one of the few places in NC that accepts driving on the beach in summertime - you are allowed to drive on the North end beach at Freeman Park, if you have the city pass and a 4WD car. You'll also be close to the pier for great fishing, a cool drink, and perhaps some storytelling about the one that got away.

How to get the best Carolina Beach vacation home experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Carolina Beach area. Reserve your vacation in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Look for your local Carolina Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines contain deals for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Make a plan and pick the rightrental:

  • Choose vacation dates and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. 1BR condo in The Breakers w Ocean and Sound views! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available online. If not, email or call the property manager before you reserve the home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You will need to work out which bed configuration is right for your vacation family.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must book a pet-friendly rental. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.

More tips for your visit:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed copy.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many issues.
  • Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • Upon check-in, document any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your peace. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a great stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
