We know you want to relax without any stops at the store when you get to the island. To get you started we provide a welcome kit that includes trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pod, washing machine pod, soaps, and shampoo/conditioner.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7 nighttime minimum with a mandatory Saturday to Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. When to visit & When to book:

• Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Carolina Beach area. To find the largest rental for your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
• Some owners offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
• Property managers usually offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. • Go through the rental a final time and scan for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
