About this Property

  • Sleeps 5
  • 2 Bedrooms
  • 1 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home
  • Approximately 576 square feet

This modernized beach bungalow is just two short blocks from the public access to the beach. The living space is 576 square feet plus a sizable screened-in porch. Partial ocean view from the porch. The bungalow is located in a peaceful residential area a short drive from the boardwalk. Linens and towels included. Totally equipped kitchen with range, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee makers, can opener and all glassware, dishes, cookware, and silverware. Washer and Dryer.

Spectrum Internet and Cable TV, Ruko TV with multiple complimentary movie channels, and a soundbar audio system.

Junior's Place is a comfortable beach bungalow that gives our guests the "good old days at the beach" feel, clean and cozy.

The bungalow was constructed in the early 1960s as a typical beach home for the time. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom- no closets. It was completely refreshed in the summer of 2018 with new wiring, plumbing, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets, appliances, drywall, insulation, windows, floor, and a Ductless Heat/AC unit. Due to the lack of closet space, we have supplied plenty of hooks, hang bars, and storage cubes.
The screened porch is a incredible place to hang out and relax with a partial ocean view. There is an outside shower in the back of the home for cleaning up after a walk to the beach and hooks on the porch for wet towels, beach toys, etc.
The backyard has room for badminton, volleyball, corn hole toss, etc.
It's a great little place and we know you will savor it.

*Smoking is allowed on the screened porch*
**NO WEED USE ON PROPERTY***

***Please be sure to check the pet box if you are bringing one before completing your reservation ***

How to get the best rental home experience:

Get the most from your rental home budget:

  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier you can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • To get the best value, change your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
  • Hosts sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Many management companies supply Carolina Beach area travel guide magazines which often include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select a group lead, choose your dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. \"JUNIOR'S PLACE\" Peaceful & Private, 2 blocks to beach -PETS OK - LOW PET FEE has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the host before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to work out what is suitable for your vacation family.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or costs may be applied to your contract.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Lock your rental home while you're out. Protect your property!
  • Document any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be beneficial if there is a dispute.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your peace. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at departure. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
