Our top Carolina Beach rental property booking tips:

Money saving strategies:

  • In the Carolina Beach area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Summer is high season in Carolina Beach. To book the largest rental for your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Carolina Beach restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Carolina Beach area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, travel guides have deals for local accommodations, tours and attractions.

Choosing and booking a perfectrental:

  • Start by selecting a vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Charming cottage nestled a few blocks from ocean! has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Carolina Beach rentals search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property management company before you reserve the rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of difficulties.
  • Lock your rental while you are away. Protect your property!
  • To make certain damages are not linked to your family's visit, record any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the rental manager right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Upon check-out, take a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
